

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua — The Antigua and Barbuda U17 Women’s National Team has departed for Curaçao to compete in the CONCACAF Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers, with a packed schedule of group-stage matches set over the coming week.
Antigua and Barbuda will open their campaign on Sunday against Guyana at 7 p.m., before facing Guatemala on Tuesday at 4 p.m. The young squad returns to action Thursday night with a 7 p.m. matchup against the Cayman Islands, and closes group play on Saturday against St. Lucia at 4 p.m.
The qualifiers provide a key regional stage for emerging talent as teams compete for advancement and a place among CONCACAF’s top youth sides.
Antigua and Barbuda’s delegation heads into the tournament seeking strong performances against a diverse field, as the program continues its development at the youth international level.
