The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) is pleased to announce the commencement of the Senior Women’s National Team’s campaign in the Concacaf Qualifiers for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, to be hosted in Brazil.
Antigua and Barbuda will open their qualifying fixtures with a home match against Nicaragua on Thursday, November 27th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
This match marks the beginning of an important competitive cycle for the nation’s women’s football program.
The Team will travel to Turks and Caicos in December to play a series of Friendly matches.
2025–2026 Qualifying Fixtures
The Senior Women’s National Team will compete in four group-stage encounters as follows:
- November 2025 – Antigua and Barbuda vs. Nicaragua, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium
- March 5, 2026 – Antigua and Barbuda vs. Guyana, hosted in Antigua and Barbuda
- April 10, 2026 – Jamaica vs. Antigua and Barbuda, Kingston, Jamaica
- April 14, 2026 – Dominica vs. Antigua and Barbuda, closing the 2026 fixtures
The team finishing first in the group will advance to the 2026 Concacaf W Championship, scheduled for
November 2026.
