Ministry of Creative Industries Announces National Youth Rally and Competitions
The Ministry of Creative Industries is thrilled to announce the upcoming National Youth Rally, set to take place today, Thursday, October 24th, 2024, starting at 8:00 AM.
The event promises an exciting line-up of competitions, including Special Drills, Cheerleading, and a DJ Competition, showcasing the talents and school spirit of students across Antigua and Barbuda.
This annual rally, a highlight of the National Youth Month celebrations, will feature fierce competition among the island’s secondary schools. The Special Drills competition will see five schools performing precise and synchronized routines, with teams from:
- All Saints Secondary School
- Antigua Girls High School
- Clarehall Secondary School
- Otto’s Secondary School
- Antigua Grammar School
The Cheerleading Competition will bring high-energy performances from:
- Glanvilles Secondary School
- Otto’s Comprehensive School
- All Saints Secondary School
- Sir Novelle Richards Academy
The DJ Competition, always a crowd favorite, will feature aspiring student DJs representing:
- Clarehall Secondary School
- Otto’s Comprehensive School
- Antigua Grammar School
