You’ve put the work in, and the result is a trip to represent your country at Carifta, congratulations to you all. It is now on each of you to focus on your individual goals, and what the end results will be. The Carifta games now seems to be the biggest, and most exciting track and field event in our athletes career, and while most athletes from other islands often progress to higher heights, we are still struggling to find a team to compete in the games that truly matters. Presently you find all the top athletes, getting in tune to represent their country in the World Indoor Championship, and as usual Antiguan athletes are no way to be found, we are still so far behind the other islands. Look at the BVI and the USVI! After competing in Carifta their athletes are now holding their own with the big guys, and why is Cornelius still there, after all the bad decisions?
