The nation today marks one year since the death of Member of Parliament Hon. Asot Michael, whose passing in November 2024 deeply moved the country.
Mr Michael, then representing St Peter, was the first sitting politician in Antigua and Barbuda to die in such circumstances. Tributes poured in from across the political spectrum, recognising his years of public service and advocacy.
Citizens continue to honour his legacy of dedication and commitment to national development, with memorial activities planned in his home constituency this week.

ASSASSINATION of Asot Michael is what it is.
Why didn’t his family who are in litigation over his estate, at least hire private investors to get some of the questions answered surrounding his ASSASSINATION? Who are they protecting?
The defendant lawyer Chaku should subpoena all of his personal records and files then add those to his public records to get to the truth or as close to it as possible to shine the light on his real assassins.
