  1. Public or STATE morgue either way very good ,,,,can charge for storage until dead is ready to be buried …..should have a state embalmer too so BARNES & STRAFFIES cant tap cost so much.

All dem do is sell box…why a funeral cost so much in ANTIGUA?

Some carpenters & jointers need to start mek boxes so funeral homes get less bodies…

    Good move

  2. Gaston you son of a what this was your plan alk along you will pay for what you are doing to antigua people maybe you might end up in what you built clown of a prime minister you are such a disgrace to the nation of antigua and Barbuda God bless antigua land so dear to me.

    • Mercyismine, you sound like you possessed by a strange spirit. Remember, the spirits of the ancestors are watching, and they are here amongst us.

    • I hope people eyes are opening up to see what he is doing. Marantha come Lord Jesus come right now, Father help y.

  3. You mean there is no morgue at the Hospital?

What kind of backwardness is this?

    Even Holberton had a morgue……

Next put a statutory instrument on the table that allows persons to source or build their own coffins

  4. Is it just me or is the ‘morgue’ in the photo an empty refrigerated container with plywood floor & a set of shelving?
    People getting excited about this?

BTW ANR howabout being a newspaper & writing articles rather than dumping audio recordings?

  5. Mr. Molwyn Joseph, as Minister of Health, is an investigation been done to determine the cause of all these deaths? Yes, we know that, unfortunately, covid has taken the lives of too many persons but my million dollar question is, Is an investigation been done to determine if the vaccine is causing deaths as well? Enquiring minds would like to know. Peoples lives are important so let us save lives instead of welcoming deaths. There are too many deaths after the roll out of the vaccines. Why?

  6. I was deceived, really no morgue is at the hospital…..this is world class dunceness to to highest degree in dumbfoundedness.
Imagine this backwardness in this day and age. I’ve observed the same is done in other areas too and I just concluded that the people that get these projects/ contracts, the so called engineers and minsters that are responsible, they all graduated with very high grades in dunceness.

  7. The solution to a problem is not for government to get into the industry and create competition. Yes, people die every day and with Covid it is even far higher than normal. And if the fees charged are too high what needs to happen is government to put price control in place. The funeral homes can be asked to submit their price build-up and government can then analyze these to see the reasonableness of that. Government can then offer some tax breaks or other measures in order to lower the price for the poor. I am not in agreement with the government putting taxpayers money to create yet another department that will be out of control before you know it. If you cannot get cooperation from the funeral homes, then you can take out your bully pulpit, which may result in closure of these businesses.
