The Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute (ABHTI) is excited to announce that registration is now open for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic year.
Early registration will be available from June until July, with a fee of $125.00. Late registration in August will have a fee of $175.00.
ABHTI offers a range of programs to cater to aspiring professionals in the hospitality industry.
The institute provides four associate degree programs, including Culinary Arts, Food and Beverage Management, Hospitality Management, and Tourism Management.
In addition, there are two certificate programs available for Basic Cookery and Front Office and Restaurant Operations.
The registration process is simple and straightforward. Interested individuals can obtain registration forms from the institute located in Dutchman’s Bay, Coolidge, or at the Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association office in St. John’s. Alternatively, the registration form can be downloaded from the ABHTI website.
The upcoming academic year at ABHTI promises to be a transformative and fulfilling experience for students.
They will have the opportunity to learn from highly qualified instructors and industry professionals who are passionate about their field.
Prospective students are required to meet the minimum requirement of five CXC subjects, including English.
Along with the completed registration form, applicants must submit a high school diploma, a copy of their passport, an official high school transcript, a passport-sized photo, a personal statement, and CSEC/CAPE/GCE Certificates.
Those currently sitting exams are encouraged to register without their CSEC results and can submit them later upon publication to complete the registration process.
