Antigua and Barbuda’s senior men’s volleyball team suffered their third consecutive defeat at the XVIII Pan American Cup, losing in straight sets to Venezuela in León, Mexico, on Thursday.
After a strong start in the opening set, Antigua and Barbuda were overpowered 25-15, 25-16, 25-8. The team ended the group stage winless but will compete in a classification match on Friday.
Venezuela topped Group A undefeated, having also beaten the USA and Cuba.
