The Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) is set to commemorate its 42nd anniversary with a dynamic week of events starting from August 26 to September 2.
The festivities will include a family fun day with diverse competitions, a thanksgiving service open to the public, a challenging relay race, and a community outreach project.
A shooting competition, a cricket match, and a musical night are also scheduled.
The week will culminate in a football championship match between ABDF and RPFAB, followed by an anniversary cocktail.
Lieutenant Randolph Best III highlighted the ABDF’s growth from inception in 1981 to its current strength of around 370 soldiers.(Observer)
