The Antigua and Barbuda Chamber of Commerce and Industry has signed a new agreement with DeVry University, giving private-sector employees and other nationals access to the American institution’s online degree programmes.
Former ABCCI president Dr. Errol Samuel and DeVry’s Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Scarlett Howery, formalised the pact during a ceremony attended by the new principal of the Antigua and Barbuda College for Advanced Studies (ABCAS), Dr. Jonah Greene, who delivered the keynote address.
Greene said both Prime Minister Gaston Browne and Education Minister Daryll Matthew remain committed to expanding educational pathways as part of a wider push for economic growth. She noted that Browne frequently highlights education as central to building a stronger, more competitive national workforce.
