Ambassador Nhyus expressed his support for the decision to expand the number of U.S. embassies in the sub-region by two.
Following U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris’ announcement, he assured the public that the decision would be disclosed in the coming months.

What a crocked and misleading headline. I would be surprised if St. Lucia, St. Vincent, or St. Kitts were selected as there are no Chinese presence on these Islands.

Ras Smood you are correct if Antigua gets the embassy it would ” only” be for the purpose of keeping an eye on the Chinese presence in the region. Remember that below ground facility is still a mystery….other than the concern over China 🇨🇳 Antigua would not be a front runner based on the reasons why the last US embassy was closed . In addition Antigua border security is at a risk to the US and other nations.
The headline is very misleading.There are two Embassies planned for the Eastern Caribbean region. Not one place has been name at this time. The answers should be known by December.
The only reason Antigua will get this Embassy, is because of all the corruption that happens here, and these unscrupulous people entering Antigua because of the CIP and Gatson Brownes stubbornness to make Antigua into a Chinese state.
