CARIB Brewery is expected to begin brewing beer and other beverages in Antigua following an agreement between the company and the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.<\/div>\n

Minister of Trade E. P. Chet Greene and Chief Executive Officer of Carib Brewery, Peter Hall signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today paving the way for the company to establish a branch of its regional operations here.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The company will take over the old Antigua Brewery facility and construction work is set to begin in the second quarter of this year.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Hall said the company is investing USD\u00a0$20\u00a0million in the project, which is expected to create some 60 new jobs for locals.<\/div>\n
