Tito\u2019s Handmade Vodka for dog people and Dogs and Cats of Antigua (DACOA), a non-profit based in St. John\u2019s, Antigua, announced they would be partnering in fundraising events throughout 2020 to benefit the ever growing stray population of dogs and cats in Antigua.<\/p>

An important part of Tito\u2019s Handmade Vodka\u2019s story is their love of dogs. For 20 years, since their inception, Tito\u2019s have been committed to animal rescue and protection in their home state of Texas and nationally. That commitment now extends to over seven countries.<\/p>\n

This month Dogs and Cats of Antigua (DACOA) celebrates the start of their sixth year in animal rescue. There is a huge stray population and a never ending stream of unwanted puppies. During the past 5 years DACOA has rehomed 1,050 dogs\/pups overseas and 700 dogs, pups and cats locally. One of the many challenges faced is fund raising. The veterinary care and vaccination protocol required to send a dog overseas as well as the
\ntransportation cost is staggering and that is why we are delighted to team up with Tito\u2019s Vodka for fundraising events throughout 2020 to maximize our own efforts.<\/p>

We are kicking off 2020 with Tito\u2019s Vodka for Dog Lovers Annual Online Art Auction on the Dogs and Cats of Antigua Discussion Group Facebook page.<\/p>

The auction features the works of internationally renowned artist Naydene Gonella. There is an opportunity to bid on three of her dog paintings of actual dog rescues and a fourth option for a private commission. The auction is available on our Facebook page Dogs and Cats of Antigua Discussion Group.<\/p>\n

Join the group, select a painting, click on it and bid. https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/dogsandcatsantigua\/
\nTito\u2019s Vodka will add matching funds for a percentage of every sale made from the art auction.<\/p>

The paintings will be on live display at the Tito\u2019s Vodka for Dog Lovers hospitality booth at The Antigua Dog Show, Falmouth on February 2nd . At that time, DACOA will also be revealing samples of our Tito\u2019s Vodka\/DACOA t-shirts and bags merchandise line and custom objet d\u2019art by Naydene Gonella.<\/p>\n
