The mystery behind Tariq Simpson’s death at sea has been debunked by the recent release of the young man\u2019s pathology report.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Simpson was pronounced dead on the evening of Tuesday October 1st, 2019 at Deep Bay.<\/p>\n

Initial reports, at the time, were that Simpson may have drowned. Soon after, however, reports of alleged drug use leading to the cause of his death soon began to surface.<\/p>

\"\"<\/div>\n

According to his ex-girlfriend who was present with him at the beach, they both took two pills of the drug.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The woman reportedly told police Simpson began acting erratic, running wildly on the beach, making noise and speaking to people who were not there.<\/p>\n

However, the report dated 17th<\/sup>\u00a0December, 2019 stated that the, \u201cUrine toxicology done was negative for licit and illicit drugs,\u201d<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The report outlined that Tariq suffered with a condition termed \u2018arteriovenous malformations\u2019 which are abnormal connections between arteries and veins \u201cwithout intervening capillaries\u201d.<\/p>\n

The report further stated that, \u201cThese tangled connections cause abnormal [pushing and\/or pulling] of the blood and high pressure channels that are at risk of rupturing.\u201d<\/p>

The direct cause of death was therefore concluded as \u00a0\u201ca rupture causing haemorrhage and unconsciousness with subsequent aspiration of the stomach contents into the lungs.\u201d<\/p>

Simpson’s mother, Hildred Simpson, expressed relief as the report has put all the misconceptions to rest.<\/p>\n

“Nothing can bring relief to the loss, because having to learn to live without him is a challenge by itself. But, having the report to clear all the misconceptions and the lies\u2026 I would say\u2026 brings relief.\u201d said Hildred.<\/p>\n

She also explained that her son was at the beach that day as a part of the therapy he was undergoing to remedy lingering joint pain he had been experiencing for some time.<\/p>\n
