Residents are taking note of the filth throughout and around St John\u2019s City.<\/p>

\u201cTime enough people take pride and clean up after themselves when they use public beaches,\u201d said one frustrated resident.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople come and leave their [expletive] all over the damn place!\u201d exclaimed another.<\/p>

The photo taken above was of historic Fort James beach early this morning towards the eastern end of the beach area near a proposed housing development complex.<\/p>

The garbage was described as, \u201cprobably wash and refuge from the bay, but still dirty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Motorists were equally appalled this morning as early morning rush hour traffic met a 30-gallon bag of garbage opened and spilling its filthy contents on lower market street next to the public market.<\/p>
