I am slowly getting tired of my wife because she won\u2019t stop using excessive make up. When I met her she always wore it but it wasn’t until I started living with her I realised the amount of time she spends doing it. It is like an obsession.<\/p>\n

I understand women want to enhance their beauty especially on special occasions but this is affecting our marriage. Kate, I have no room on the dressing table. Her stuff is all over. When she was at work I went and checked and I realise she has 143 different cosmetics on the shelf.<\/p>

Kate, I love my wife and I will love her even if she doesn\u2019t put on the fake lashes or the thing on the cheeks or the lipstick that stains. I just want her to realise that she\u2019s beautiful and she don\u2019t need to spend three hours putting on her face to prove it. I know this may sound trivial but it is affecting me. My wife wouldn\u2019t even go out of the house without make up. She wears it to the beach too and I don\u2019t understand.<\/p>

Take courage. Have a sit down with your wife. These things can really drive a man up the wall and I can see you\u2019re either there or close. Women and make up go hand in hand. And as you rightfully said nothing is wrong in wearing make-up but when it becomes an obsession then perhaps it\u2019s time to look deeper.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

You need to find out if your wife has a low self-esteem. How does she see herself without make up? Does she feel ugly? I don\u2019t see why a woman would need to spend three hours on her face. It is obviously deeper rooted than just what appears on the surface. Talk to her. Get to the understanding as to why she needs to be like that. If the problem is really one of self-esteem them she needs to seek further help.<\/p>
