The public is invited to a family fun and open day at PAAWS animal shelter in Parham this Sunday.<\/p>\n

Visitors can enjoy a barbeque, bake sale and colouring competition at the event taking place from 3pm to 6pm. They will also have the chance to meet the shelter\u2019s dozens of rescued dogs and cats, puppies and kittens \u2013 and get their photo taken with the animal of their choice by a professional photographer with a prize given for the best picture.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Experts will be on hand to give free health tips and advice on caring for your pet, along with a dog training display.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Admission is free. Dog biscuits, PAAWS T-shirts and leads will be for sale.<\/p>\n

PAAWS is currently looking for new board members to assist with its work rescuing and rehoming abused, abandoned and stray dogs and cats. Anyone interested is encouraged to attend the open day for more details.\u00a0 PAAWS is a friendly society which operates entirely on donations to meet its monthly EC$25,000 costs.<\/p>
