Marie Daley delivered the first reading at Sunday mass before being shot dead in her Gray’s Farm home later that day.<\/p>

\"\"<\/div>\n

The 65-year-old read from Ezekiel 18:25-28 which stated in part “having chosen to renounce all his previous crimes, he\u00a0will\u00a0most certainly live: he\u00a0will<\/a>\u00a0not die.”<\/p>\n

According to reports, it was while sitting at her kitchen table that Daley was shot multiple times.<\/p>

\"\"<\/div>\n

A terrified\u00a0neighbour\u00a0who was in her backyard at the time said she heard several shots and when she looked, she saw a masked man running from the house and into a car.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The woman said she then heard the screams of the victim’s daughter confirming that her mother had been shot.<\/p>\n

Daley was well-known in Gray’s Farm and the killing has left the community in disbelief.<\/p>

Police are investigating the country’s 15th homicide for the year.<\/p>\n
