The Ministry of Works and Housing is collaborating with the Traffic Department of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda to implement a traffic management plan in an effort to ease congestion in the capital, St. John\u2019s particularly on the weekends.<\/p>

The public is hereby notified that the traffic lights at the intersection of Grays Farm Main Road and Valley Road near King George V Grounds will be placed in a \u201cFlashing State\u201d every Saturday.<\/p>\n

This flashing state will take effect on Saturday 22nd April 2017.<\/p>

This is in an effort to ease the congestion at the busiest period for that particular Junction.<\/p>

Motorists are there urged to: Treat the flashing red light like a stop sign, Be mindful of the movement of pedestrians and; Take extra precaution to avoid collision or accidents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
