A 51-year-old landscaper was sentenced to two months in prison for exposing himself in view of a little girl.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Dave Russell pleaded guilty to indecent exposure in the Magistrates Court on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

An 11-year-old said she was sitting on her gallery when the defendant walked pass her, entered her neighbour\u2019s yard and sat down.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/div>\n

The girl said Russell then began playing with his penis while peeping at her through some bushes.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The girl ran inside her house, locked the door and reported the incident to her grandmother, who called the police.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived on the scene, they were unable to locate the defendant but after they left, Russell, who had been hiding in nearby bushes, when to the home and apologized to the grandmother.<\/p>

The defendant said he only realized he offended the girl after hearing the officers speaking.<\/p>\n

Police was called a second time and he was arrested and charged for the offence.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

In his defense, Russell said he had a weak bladder and had pulled out his penis to pee.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

During sentencing the Magistrate said she was particularly bothered by the young age of the complainant.<\/p>\n

The sentence was handed down after she considered the defendant\u2019s personal circumstances, the fact that this is his first offence and his guilty plea, which entitled him to a 1\/3 discount.<\/p>\n
