The three men charged with the murder of Xavier Thomas of Cedar Grove last Friday have been placed on remand.<\/p>

Dorian Marshall, Jason Millette and Shalom Bailey all of Donovans\u00a0appeared in St John\u2019s Magistrates\u2019 Court this morning before Magistrate Conliffe Clarke.<\/p>\n

The court set the committal date for the capital offence for\u00a0November 8<\/span>.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

In addition to the murder charge, the trio face two counts of shooting with intent to murder.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Marshall, Millette and Bailey allegedly drove to Cedar Grove shortly after\u00a09pm<\/span>\u00a0and opened fire on Thomas,\u00a049-year-old Lorne Nicholas and Shane Matthew, 32, while they were sitting on a corner in the village.<\/p>\n

Thomas, who was allegedly three months pregnant, was shot in the abdomen and left leg, but was pronounced dead while being treated for her injuries at the hospital.<\/p>

Nicholas and Matthew sustained bullet wounds to their thighs and legs respectively.<\/p>\n

Both men have been discharged from the hospital.<\/p>

Attorneys Michael Archibald and Lawrence Daniel appeared in court this morning for the accused.<\/p>
