Lilly Ching Soto, recently presented her letters of credence to the Minister responsible for External Affairs, Sarah Flood Beaubrun.<\/p>\n

The Costa Rican native has been working with the OAS since 1999.<\/p>

\"\"<\/div>\n

She has worked extensively on human rights issues with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights at the OAS and her most recent position was the Principal Human Rights Specialist on that commission.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The OAS was founded on April 30, 1948, for the purposes of regional solidarity and cooperation among its member states.<\/p>\n

It comprises 35 independent states of the Americas and is headquartered in Washington, D.C.<\/p>
