Darren Roberts, aka Danger\u201d of Buckleys Street Green Bay, was convicted and sentenced to 5 \u00bd years at Her Majestys Prison on multiple firearms, ammunition and drug related charges in the St. Johns Magistrates Court on Thursday.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

He appeared before Chief Magistrate Joanne Walsh and pleaded guilty to all the charges and was sentenced to 2 years in prison for Possession of one modified 12 Gauge shot Gun, one 9mm Beretta Pistol  and one modified Flare Gun. He was further sentenced to an additional 2 years for Possession of thirteen 9mm rounds of ammunition, one .4mm round of ammunition, four 12 gauge cartridges, eighteen .22 live rounds of ammunition, one hundred and four.22 blank rounds of ammunition and two modified flare gun cartridges. He was ordered to pay a fine of $7,000 forthwith or 18 months in prison for Possession with intent to transfer one pound of cured Cannabis and eight Cannabis plants.<\/p>\n

 These sentences are to run consecutively. A 3 months sentence was further imposed for Possession of a Bulletproof Vest, which will run concurrently. He was reprimanded and discharged on the charges of Cultivation, and Possession of one pound of Cannabis and eight Cannabis plants.<\/p>

The Court heard that on Friday 29th July, the police carried out an early morning raid on his home based on intelligence, and found him in possession of the items. He, along with his girlfriend were arrested and taken into custody.
