Prime Minister Gaston Browne said today he is \u201cin the business of suing\u201d and has vowed to use costs awarded to him for defamation in the productive sectors.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Browne warned his critics that they \u201cwill create a defamation industry in this country\u201d if they continue to speak lies about him.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to understand that free speech comes with responsibilities and it is not a free for all in which you can just defame people for political gain,\u201d the prime minister told an interview on Observer Radio.<\/p>

He was making reference to lawsuits he filed against Senator Damani Tabor and Queen Ivena for statements made about his wife\u2019s charity.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Browne said he was advised that he has a 99 per cent chance of winning his case even as he pledged to use his winnings productively.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have started construction of Tabor\u2019s Chicken\/Fowl Pen. I am advancing the funds but ultimately it is his funds that will pay for it.\u201d<\/p>

He also has plans to put possible funding from Queen Ivena to productive use.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will also be investing in a pig pen and it will be called Ivena\u2019s Pig Pen and it is Ivena\u2019s money that will pay for it,\u201d the prime minister announced.<\/p>

Browne is also suing Observer Radio and has plans to sue a Spanish newspaper for linking him to bribery.<\/p>
