Kenroy “Spani Man” James of Ottos and Casey McKenzie of De Souza Road who were indicted on charges of wounding with intent and assault with intent, respectively, have pleaded guilty to their charges and are slated to appear in court for sentencing today.<\/p>

On February 26th 2017, the two men were involved in the stabbing of Jowayne Haughton at the Cactus Bar on Prince Charles Street, causing Haughton to be hospitalised in critical condition.<\/p>\n

When their trial began before Justice Stanley John on Monday, McKenzie pleaded guilty to assault with intent to rob.<\/p>

Four witnesses testified against James saying they saw him stab Haughton unprovoked.<\/p>

Yesterday, as the trial was about to be resumed, James asked to be arraigned again and pleaded guilty to wounding with intent.<\/p>\n
