The Kiwanis Club of St. John\u2019s Antigua wishes to announce the 3rd Everett Lake Scholarship Fund.\u00a0 Ten (10) primary school students will benefit from this needs based initiative where each scholar\u00a0 will receive\u00a0 up to EC$500.00 in school supplies.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The scholarship is designed to target students whose parents\/guardians face challenging economic circumstances and are not able to provide their young ones with the basic supplies for the new academic year.<\/p>\n

Application forms are available from A.G Morgan Morgan,\u00a0 Cool & Smooth,<\/p>

Methodist Bookshop, Grays Farm Clinic,\u00a0 St. John\u2019s Health Centre or any member of the Kiwanis Club of St. John\u2019s Antigua. Forms can also be downloaded from the Club\u2019s Facebook page\u00a0https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pg\/kiwanisclubstjohnsantigua<\/a>.<\/p>

The Scholarship program which was inaugurated in 2017 was the highlight of the Club\u2019s 20th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary celebrations.\u00a0 Based on the feedback of the positive impact for the recipients, the Club has converted the program into an annual undertaking.\u00a0 The deadline for submission of applications this year is 12th August, 2019.<\/p>\n

Proceeds from the Club\u2019s fundraising projects inclusive of our annual High Tea at the Dockyard, go towards the Scholarship initiative alongside other Community Projects.<\/p>
