A recent college grad was shot to death by a teen gunman who tried to escape on a Citi Bike, police said Friday.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Storm Hughes, 22, died at the same Brooklyn hospital where his mother works after the shooter pulled a .9-mm gun from his waistband and fired twice on E. 91st St. near Church Ave. in Brownsville about 7 p.m. Thursday.<\/p>\n

He attended the St. Anthony’s Secondary School in Antigua.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Hughes, who just completed his degree at Monroe College, was blasted in his chest and right side. He ran half a block before collapsing.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Medics rushed him to Brookdale University Hospital where he died just before 10 p.m., officials said.<\/p>\n

His shooter, clad in a yellow T-shirt, took off on a Citi Bike, which a second youth had been holding for him at the corner, sources said. The killer pedaled away west on Avenue A, while his accomplice walked off.<\/p>

After the NYPD put a description of the suspect over police radios, cops chased him for three blocks before nabbing him on Ralph Ave. near Snyder Ave., sources said.<\/p>\n

The suspect was interviewed by cops with his father present and asked for a lawyer, sources said. Charges against him were pending Friday. He has no prior arrests.<\/p>

Hughes was carrying a black knapsack containing two ounces of pot, some in a plastic bag and some in a Mason jar, along with some of Hughes\u2019 mail, sources said. He had never been arrested.<\/p>

Cops are investigating if his killing was marijuana related.<\/p>\n

Hughes was shot seven blocks from the home he shared with his brother and mother, an administrator at the hospital where her son died.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou see one and always see the other one,\u201d neighbor James Boynton, 55, said of the victim and his brother. \u201cThey came home, went to work and came back. It’s terrible. They don’t mess with nobody. They kept to themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both brothers had just finished college, neighbors said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe grew up here,\u201d a neighbor who declined to give his name said of Hughes. \u201cEveryone in this building knows him. He’s a quiet, respectable kid.”<\/p>\n

\u201cHe kept to himself and played video games, worked out, rode his bike,\u201d the neighbor added. \u201cYou don’t see him rolling with a big group. Him and his brother were just trying to work hard and make it.\u201d<\/p>\n
