Minister of Education Michael Browne is hoping to receive final approval for UWI Antigua Campus tomorrow.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

A Ministers of Education Meeting planned for Friday, May 31, 2019, will be held primarily to ratify the Technical Committee\u2019s approval of the commencement of the Fourth Landed Campus of the UWI at Five Islands, Antigua, in September 2019.<\/p>\n

According to three government, the Minister was assured that the gaps identified by the Technical Committee are either cured or are about to be cured.<\/p>

\"\"<\/div>\n

For example, a sum of EC$154,000 have been set aside to bump up the speed of the I.T. connections at all four campuses: ABIIT, ABHTI, ASC, Five Islands.<\/p>

It is hoped that the UWI will name a Registrar and other officials, and identify Lecturers and Professors for all disciplines that are to be taught.<\/p>\n

Arrangements will be made to celebrate the significant step forward, after the decision to ratify has been made on Friday, a Cabinet statement said.<\/p>
