Martin-Cramp\u2019s case is the first time\u00a0a<\/span>\u00a0UK citizen has been extradited to Antigua & Barbuda to face criminal charges.<\/span><\/p>

The Scotland Yard Officer attempted to block the extradition claiming inhumane conditions at Her Majesty\u2019s Prison, which is commonly called 1735 based on the year it was built.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, in\u00a0a<\/span>\u00a0legal first, local authorities convinced\u00a0a<\/span>\u00a0London judge to sign off on the extraction by assuring that the accused officer will be kept in very comfortable conditions at the former US air base.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The complainant thanked the authorities for ensuring her rapist was brought to justice.<\/span><\/p>

\u201cIt is encouraging that steps are being taken to continue fighting for those that have been through such traumatic events such as mine. It is unclear where the convicted officer will serve his sentence, which is expected to be handed down in July.<\/span><\/p>
