One of the closest friends of the late Sir Prince Ramsey has called for him to be made a National Hero.<\/p>

Sir Prince was laid to rest today in an official funeral.<\/p>\n

Delivering the eulogy, Bernard Percival said Sir Prince has done enough for Antigua and Barbuda to be deserving of the nation’s highest honour.<\/p>

\"\"<\/div>\n

He said all that Sir Prince did already makes him a national treasure “but we hope one day very soon to the status of National Hero of Antigua and Barbuda.”<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

A petition has also been launched to rename the hospital in memory of Sir Prince.<\/p>\n

Others who knew Sir Prince well also gave tributes to his character and shared stories about Antigua’s most beloved son.<\/p>

His classmate, Dr Selvyn Rocke said: “it is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to this humanitarian, servant-master, doctor par excellence, dedicated family man and friend.”<\/p>\n
