A 29-year-old man was\u00a0<\/span>on Tuesday<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>found guilty of molesting his girlfriend\u2019s 12-year-old daughter in 2013.<\/span><\/p>

A jury found the man guilty of the offense following two and a half hours of deliberations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The court heard, the man called the child\u2019s grandmother and said he was coming for the little girl.<\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The girl\u2019s mother testified that she was at work when this happened and said she did not arrange for the man to pick up her child.<\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The child testified the defendant drove her to a KFC restaurant to get something to eat before taking her to his apartment where he forced himself on her.<\/span><\/p>\n

The man denied the allegation saying the girl\u2019s mother was at his home when he took the child there and claimed someone else must have interfered with the girl while he was away from the apartment.<\/span><\/p>

He faces up to life imprisonment when he returns for sentencing in the High Court next month.<\/span><\/p>\n
