The government says the issuance of a vendor\u2019s license by the St. John\u2019s Development Corporation has been interpreted as permission to knock-up unpainted plywood cubicles that serve cold drinks and food.<\/p>

The Cabinet discussed the crowding of Darkwood Beach by many vendors who have constructed unsightly booths on the green space, or sand dunes, normally utilized as resting places by families and tourists that visit the magnificent beach.<\/p>\n

A decision was taken on Wednesday to require mobile stalls that can be removed nightly, and that are to be uniform in appearance\u2014not unlike the uniformity in looks that has been achieved at Long Bay and Galley Bay.<\/p>
