The Antiguan and Barbuda leg of the Gold Coast 2018 Queen\u2019s Baton Relay commences tomorrow.<\/p>

Local organisers are promising that of the 70 Commonwealth Nations that the baton will travel through, its journey across Antigua and Barbuda promises to be one of its most memorable stops.<\/p>\n

A special programme dubbed\u00a0\u201cThings Uniquely Antiguan and Barbudan\u201d, is in place for its arrival.<\/p>

The delegation will be greeted by national sporting federations and associations, specifically at the various sporting facilities, historical sites, and places of interest.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

On Sunday evening at Shirley\u2019s Heights, an event called, \u201cSunset Riddims\u201d will culminate the first day of the baton\u2019s expedition.<\/p>\n

The second day, on the sister isle, Barbuda, the experience will be just as exciting.<\/p>

In preparation of the arrival of the Queen\u2019s Baton, an appeal is being made to all residents to join in on the excitement, in an effort to make this year\u2019s relay experience simply thrilling.<\/p>\n

The Queen’s Baton relay signifies the count down to the 2018 Commonwealth Games.<\/p>
