The Antigua & Barbuda Intellectual Property Office is extending the deadline for our School\u2019s competition this year to Friday 30th<\/sup> June, 2017.<\/u>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This competition forms a part of this year\u2019s activities celebrating World Intellectual Property Day under the Theme Innovation: Improving Lives.\u00a0 <\/strong>Over the last few years, our office has been focusing on Public awareness campaign geared towards the Schools through various competitions.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

This year, we find the Theme to be more relatable and hence should be more appealing.\u00a0 We have put forward two topics encompassing the theme where entrants will have the option of developing through Essay, Poem, Interpretive Video<\/em> or Poster Design<\/em>. In an effort to garner more interest and entries for this competion we have decided to extend the deadline from June 02nd<\/sup> 2017 to June 30th<\/sup>, 2017.<\/p>\n

We would like to take this opportunity urge the parents and or teachers to encourage the children to participate in this completion. The prizes for primary and Secondary Schools respectively are as follows:-<\/p>

1st<\/sup> Place : EC $500.00 \/ $600.00<\/p>

3rd<\/sup> Place:\u00a0 Ec $ 200.00 \/ $300.00<\/p>

The Entry and Release Forms are available at The Antigua & Barbuda Intellectual Property Office located on St. John\u2019s Street and Scotiabank. The Forms must be signed by the Parent or Legal Guardian of the Entrants and be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m on the 30th<\/sup> of June, 2017 at The Intellectual Property & Commerce Office.<\/p>\n
