Prime Minister Gaston Browne says he is buoyed by the developments on Barbuda as three major projects are to materialize.<\/p>

Browne says he toured the Discovery Bay development at Coco Point over the weekend.<\/p>\n

He claims that the tequila magnate behind the project, John Paul DeJoria, has invested over US$ 50 million in the project to date.<\/p>

\u201cTo date, I am told that they have sold about 30 lots and on average these lots sell for about $3-4 million. So, on average they\u2019ve had $120 million in sales so far.”<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

De Joria will build his home first starting in July, according to Browne.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

“Barbuda now is shaping up to be the most prestigious island in the Caribbean,” Browne told his radio programme.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The prime minister also announced that the controversial Paradise Found project by actor Robert Deniro is back on.<\/p>\n

The project’s future faced uncertainty after the main business partner pulled out.<\/p>

Browne says Deniro has committed to “a renewed push” and will visit Barbuda soon.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

A Russian investor will also build an Ahmed Resort, Browne reported.<\/p>\n

“Plus we will be getting a One and Only on Barbuda. There will be two, one here in Antigua at Pearns Point and one in Barbuda.<\/p>\n
