\u00a0Hon Michael Joseph may be the nation’s next prime minister, giving rise to another historic moment for St. John’s Rural West<\/p>

Dear Editor,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortly after the swearing in ceremony for the gov’t ministers, PM Gaston Browne made an announcement that succession planning has to be done as of now, in order to prepare some individuals for leadership of the ABLP party for the near future.<\/p>

\"\"<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Although, it was not a startling revelation, in my view, as leader for the ABLP, I believe that PM Gaston Browne has with God’s blessings of health and strength, another 10 more years to be at the apex of the party.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Be that as it may,  a question is now asked who will be Gaston Browne’s successor?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presently, ABLP has some young bright Turks in their camp. If these youngsters are trained as of now to take over leadership of the party, whenever the PM vacates his seat then I will certainly bet my last dollar that Hon Michael Joseph will be the candidate to be the nation’s next prime minister. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Michael Browne becoming the next prime minister will definitely be another historic moment for St. John’s Rural West. It will be a constituency that has produced three prime ministers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presently, Michael’s appointment as the Health minister, which is one of the highest offices in the government, was not done by just waiving a magic wand. It was definitely done by proper assessment. The Hon Michael Joseph has what it takes.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

His charisma and intellect will no doubt propel him into the seat of the next PM of Antigua & Barbuda.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, Richard Lewis another individual from the St. John’s Rural West and who also has prime minister qualities, will miss out to that elevation of being the prime minister, because he has found himself to be in the wrong party. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
