The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) has detailed the roles of officials who will oversee the voting process in the upcoming general election.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Commission said election workers are required to operate with fairness and impartiality to ensure a credible process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the constituency level, the Returning Officer is responsible for supervising all polling stations and ensuring that electoral laws are followed.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Each polling station is managed by a Presiding Officer, who issues ballots, guides voters and assists those who may need help, including people with disabilities.<\/p>

They are supported by Poll Clerks, who handle administrative tasks, and Information Clerks, who provide directions and answer questions from voters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABEC said all officials must carry out their duties under oath and maintain strict neutrality.<\/p>
