The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) has announced the retirement of its longest-serving employee, Claudette Martin Ladoo, marking the end of a 46-year career with the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToday, we proudly celebrate an extraordinary milestone at APUA,\u201d the statement read. \u201cAfter an incredible 46 years of dedicated service, Mrs. Claudette Martin Ladoo officially retires as our longest serving employee.\u201d<\/p>

Martin Ladoo began her career in 1979 in the Billing Department, now known as the Data Processing Department, and rose to the position of Accounts Receivable Controller. Over the decades, she became a central figure within the organization, described as \u201ca pillar of commitment, excellence, and professionalism.\u201d<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

APUA noted that her tenure spanned the institution\u2019s early development to its current form, highlighting her influence across generations of staff. \u201cHer journey spans the early, formative years of APUA to the organization we are today. Along the way, she has inspired generations with her warmth, humility, and unwavering dedication,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organization also reflected on her broader legacy, stating that \u201cMrs. Ladoo\u2019s legacy reminds us that true greatness is built over time, through consistency, pride, and a genuine passion for service.\u201d<\/p>
