opposition parties can make expansive promises without being held accountable if they fail to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen you\u2019re in opposition\u2026 you can promise anything,\u201d Browne said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Browne said his administration has instead focused on fiscal discipline, describing it as a key achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe believe in fiscal responsibility,\u201d he said, adding that the government has achieved a level of financial management \u201cnever\u2026 seen in this country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His remarks come as political parties intensify campaigning
