Senator Pearl Quinn-Williams, the United Progressive Party (UPP) candidate for St John\u2019s City East, says she is confident of winning the constituency in the April 30 general election, claiming she has already overcome the six-vote margin from the previous poll.<\/p>

Quinn-Williams criticised the current representation, alleging that the sitting MP has been largely absent from the community, leaving residents facing neglect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said constituents had repeatedly raised concerns about poor sanitation, which she described as the most pressing issue in the area. According to her, blocked gutters, stagnant water and accumulated bulk waste were contributing to unhealthy conditions in some communities.<\/p>
