Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) Chairman E.P. Chet Greene has outlined a series of projects in St. Paul\u2019s, pointing to expanded healthcare, skills training and housing initiatives as evidence of continued development in the constituency.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Speaking during the party\u2019s campaign launch, Greene said the constituency has benefited from targeted investments aimed at improving quality of life and creating new opportunities, particularly for young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He highlighted the opening of two healthcare facilities, including a new clinic in Cobbs Cross and upgrades to an existing facility, describing them as part of efforts to bring services closer to residents.<\/p>

\u201cWe have two very functional clinics in St. Paul\u2019s, bringing healthcare services to a new level,\u201d Greene said.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The ABLP chairman also pointed to the construction of a new technical training centre, which is expected to support skills development and entrepreneurship. One component of the facility will focus on beauty and skincare training, while other areas are geared toward practical and vocational skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greene said the initiative forms part of a broader push to expand access to training through institutions such as the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus, where residents are already enrolled in short and long-term programmes.<\/p>

\u201cWe have about 30 students on short courses\u2026 and others in longer programmes,\u201d he said, noting that youth development and education remain central to the constituency\u2019s growth strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Housing expansion was also identified as a key priority, with Greene outlining plans for additional land development and new housing opportunities. He said ongoing work includes land demarcation for housing projects and efforts to resolve longstanding land issues to make more property available.<\/p>

Among those developments is the anticipated use of lands tied to the Martin estate in Liberta, which Greene said could unlock new opportunities for residential expansion once finalized.<\/p>

\u201cWe look forward to lands being opened up for housing development,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greene added that further upgrades are planned for the constituency, including expanded healthcare services such as dental and eye care, as well as emergency infrastructure to support the area\u2019s growing population and economic activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He framed the projects as part of a broader, ongoing agenda rather than election-period initiatives, stating that development in St. Paul\u2019s has been consistent over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile others campaign, I maintain,\u201d Greene said, referencing his continued presence and engagement in the constituency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
