The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission (ABFC) continues its commitment to strengthening and elevating the nation\u2019s music industry through a strong collaboration with Caribbean music producer and writer Kitwana Israel of AdvoKit Productions.<\/p>

With over a decade of professional experience, Israel offers a wealth of industry knowledge and regional influence to this initiative. Renowned for his work across the Caribbean, the United States, and Africa, he has established a strong reputation for producing high-quality, culturally driven music that resonates on both local and international levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His impressive production catalogue includes standout tracks such as Ola (Kan Kan Riddim)<\/em> by Olatunji Yearwood, Hello (Folklore Riddim)<\/em> by Kes, and Buss Head<\/em> by Machel Montano and Bunji Garlin. His work also spans hits like Tender<\/em> and Anxiety<\/em> by Patrice Roberts, DAP (Drink and Party)<\/em> by Viking Ding Dong, Come Home<\/em> by Nailah Blackman and Skinny Fabulous, and Take Me Home<\/em> by Freetown Collective. Most recently, he produced Doux Darlin<\/em> by Christo, further cementing his role in shaping the modern Caribbean sound.<\/p>

Speaking on the collaboration, Israel shared<\/strong>: \u201cI am currently on the island collaborating with Chippy to produce a rhythm specifically for Antigua Carnival. The aim is to spotlight Antiguan music. Being here and working in the same space with local artistes like Tian and DJ Quest has been an incredible experience. There\u2019s a unique energy, and we are channelling that into music that can resonate not only in Antigua but across the Caribbean and internationally. This project is about creating timeless music that reflects the culture, the people, and the spirit of the island.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Chairperson of the ABFC, Ambassador Elizabeth Makhoul,<\/strong> underscored the Commission\u2019s commitment to the creative sector: \u201cThe Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting and developing our creative industries.  We will continue to support collaborations such as this, which provide invaluable opportunities for our local producers and artistes to engage with internationally respected professionals, gain insight, and elevate their craft. Minister within the Ministry of Education, Sports and Creative Industries, the Hon. Daryll S. This collaboration marks a significant step, similar to last year’s initiative when we hosted the Music Producers\u2019 Masterclass: Audio Essentials with Kasey Phillips, aimed at empowering our local talent, strengthening our music industry, and creating pathways for sustainable growth. By facilitating knowledge transfer and real-time collaboration, we are ensuring that our creatives are equipped with the tools and exposure needed to succeed beyond our shores.\u201d<\/em><\/p>
