Former parliamentarian Eustace \u201cTeco\u201d Lake will be laid to rest today following an official funeral, as Antigua and Barbuda honours his life and public service.<\/p>

Lake, who died in February after a prolonged illness, was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2009 and won re-election in 2014. He later served in the Ministry of Works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He battled kidney disease for several years and was among the first patients to undergo a kidney transplant at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. Despite the procedure, his health challenges persisted.<\/p>

After stepping away from electoral politics, Lake was appointed to the Senate following the 2018 general elections.<\/p>
