The first phase of the runway rehabilitation project at VC Bird International Airport has been completed as work continues on the major upgrade to the country\u2019s primary aviation gateway.<\/p>

The project is being carried out by Aecon Group Inc., the international construction and infrastructure firm overseeing the redevelopment. The rehabilitation is intended to improve runway performance, enhance safety, and extend the long term durability of the airport\u2019s critical infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the initial phase now finished, work is expected to move into the next stage of the project in the coming months.
Local creative company Spencer Branding Studio has been engaged to document the progress of the rehabilitation through aerial drone footage, photography, and video production. The documentation includes regular aerial updates and on site visual coverage designed to track the project as it develops.<\/p>
