Jamie Darroux, a 34-year-old man from Herberts, has pleaded guilty to cannabis-related offences after police found him smoking in public and carrying more than the legal limit.<\/p>

He appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel following his arrest in Potters on March 23. Officers on patrol reported seeing him smoking near the Registration Unit, and a search uncovered 21 grams of cannabis\u2014six grams above the permitted amount, valued at $210.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Darroux was charged with public smoking and possession over the legal threshold. He was granted bail on his own recognizance, with sentencing set for March 30.<\/p>
