Christopher Howell, also known as Yung Luiy, has died after battling critical illness at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

Howell had been in intensive care after suffering kidney failure and a liver condition, which left him in a coma and dependent on dialysis and life support.<\/p>

In recent days, his family had appealed to the public for blood donations, and later launched a GoFundMe campaign with a $5,000 goal to assist with mounting medical expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His mother, Claudette Armstrong, had described the situation as dire, saying her son was \u201cfighting for his life\u201d and thanking those who offered support through donations, blood contributions and sharing the appeal.<\/p>
