Historic Liberta Water Tank Restored After Rapid Repairs<\/p>

A landmark water tank in Liberta has been restored following reconstruction works led by the Ministry of Works, according to St. Paul MP E.P. Chet Greene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greene said the restoration of the more than century-old structure, located just outside the Gracehill Moravian Church, has been welcomed by residents at home and abroad.<\/p>

\u201cThe historic landmark water tank in Liberta has been restored,\u201d Greene said in a statement, expressing \u201cmuch thanks and appreciation\u201d to the Ministry of Works for its rapid response and to contractor Vaughn Jackson for what he described as \u201cskillful reconstruction work.\u201d<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

He added that the project has resonated deeply within the community, calling the tank a symbol of Liberta\u2019s heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI can say without fear of contradiction that every member of the Liberta community, at home and abroad, shares my gratitude and elation over the restoration of this landmark,\u201d Greene said.<\/p>

The structure, which has stood for more than 100 years, was recently repainted in bold national colors following the repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
