Students, teachers and staff from the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus and Five Islands Primary School took part in a 5K run and walk on Sunday, aimed at promoting healthy living and supporting education.<\/p>

The annual event, now in its second year, brought together members of the Five Islands community to raise funds for student scholarships and school programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Campus principal Professor C. Justin Robinson said the initiative extends beyond fitness, forming part of a wider effort to encourage healthier lifestyles.<\/p>

Previous activities have included a \u201cNo Sugar November\u201d campaign and a New Year step challenge encouraging daily targets of up to 15,000 steps.<\/p>
