\u2022 Origin Time and Date: 8:17 AST (1217 UTC) March 21, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Coordinates: 23.8\u00b0 North, 45.8\u00b0 West, about 1818 km\/1130 miles northeast of Antigua<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Depth: 1 km\/0.6 miles<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Location: Northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evaluation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.9 occurred at the Northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 8:31 am on Saturday, March 21, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on all available data, there is no significant tsunami threat from this earthquake. However, there is a very small possibility of tsunami waves along the Atlantic coasts located nearest the epicentre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
