Victim in New Field Incident Identified<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, 17 March 2026<\/p>

The Police have formally identified the male victim who died as a result of an alleged stabbing incident at Lion\u2019s Estate in New Field as 38-year-old Daniel Lewis of Glanvilles.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident occurred sometime during the early hours of Monday, 16 March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is alleged that the deceased entered the home of a resident in the New Field area, during which a confrontation ensued.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n


During the altercation, Mr. Lewis reportedly sustained a wound to the lower part of his body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emergency personnel later responded to the scene; however, he was pronounced dead at approximately 8:38 a.m.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding this incident are ongoing.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n


Anyone with information that may assist with the investigation is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call the Crimestoppers anonymous hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Police Administration extends sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Daniel Lewis during this difficult time.<\/p>\n
